Ok, here goes, 3 Stars for Story and 5 Stars for Sex:)

First let's talk about the sex scenes, OMG, wowza talk about squirming in my seat HOT! Let me tell you the opening of this book may just be one of the hottest opening scenes, yep, it was holy amazaballs hot, hot, hot!!!!!!! I thought Nicole Edwards threesome scenes were smoking, well this scene ranked right up there:) Ok,Ok, so now onto the storyline, hmmmm, not quite sure about it. I wasn't too impressed with how their story played out and quite frankly the scene when they actually first see each other after amazing sex, yep, him trying to get her pissed off or try to get her out of his mind, did nothing but piss me off! Ughhhh, sorry it just turned me off especially because he actually went through with not one but TWO acts she caught him in and well for me personally it just turned me off and then their story just got a bit melodramatic for me and it was HIM who was annoying most of the book well, and her never ending crying. His inner thoughts DIDN'T match up to his actions and that became a problem for me...made it difficult to truly get emotionally involved with them. Yes, I did love how it ended but the road to bliss was not my cup of tea..... All in all 4 Stars and yes, I will definitely give this series another shot and read the next book!

I did not like this. It was ALL sexual. They were together for like a week total with all these weeks in between where they were not a couple. He was disgusting. He lasted over 2 months without having sex because he wanted her but the first time he sees her, he grabs the nearest skank and drags her into a closet so she can give him oral, right in front of the heroine and then gets caught having sex with that same woman by the heroine later that night. Let us not forget that after having sex with that skank, he then gets the heroine off by her grinding on him later that night, with no mention of him cleaning up, and they have sex the next morning, still no clean up! GROSS!!! I understand they are COMPLETELY different than me but if all he had to do was apologize to the heroine and they could be together, why would he not just do that? Why would he rather hook up with a groupie after all this time thinking he was not good enough for Callie, then make up with the heroine THE SAME NIGHT? I was very disappointed in this book and the editing was bad. There were a lot of misspelled words. Also, Donovan and Mara???? Really??? How in the world is she going to feel when she finds out he had a threesome with her brother and her brother's girlfriend? I mean, Mara will see Callie ALL the time and know that her hero had slept with her future sister-in-law! That is just sad. None of the other heroines have to see their boyfriends' one-night stands on a daily basis, but now the youngest and most innocent does?? Nasty!
I bought this the instant I saw it just because of the cover model(I love Alfie). I didn't know it was part of a series until I started reading it. It was able to be read as a stand alone, I didn't feel like I was starting in the middle of anything. I just couldn't get into it. Lots of sex, crying, I'm sorry, make up sex. Callie just came across as pathetic, screw anyone you want, it's ok, I'll still love you. Really? I thought it was lacking when it came to Drew's part of the story (or maybe I just missed it in the first book).
This book was amazing! Lexi Buchanan has a way with words and making you feel everything the character's are going through. I cried, laughed, and just out right snorted on some parts. I love all the character's and can't wait for book 3! I can just feel that I will need a box of kleenex handy ugh...Donovan...damn sexy man.
I loved this book and the last also. I have read lots of books and I am enjoying these books. The only really really bad thing with this book on my kindle for some reason they went from page 159 to 161 and left out page 160 and I was posted it was an important page and I will never know every thing about Reese asking Thalia to move in because he was solo nervous. But other than that it was a great sexy read with sexy sexy guys rockin the pages. I thought l might like Phoenix (Jack) best but after reading Reese it's hard to pick plus Donovan is great to and I will be reading his book next so they are all yummy. I don't usually leave reviews often but every once in awhile I feel it necessary.
While I wasn't bothered by the M/F/M opening scene, I didn't feel like Reece was the same guy in the rest of the story. At least in the lead up to their threesome he had this air of charm and confidence, and you could feel the spark he had with Calli; but once the book jumps ahead several months later, he becomes a real head case, making one stupid decision after the next. For at least the first half of the book Reese behaves like a jerk. I had to keep looking back at the cover and assume his hotness is what had her so forgiving.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the plot needs some work. It has potential but it falls short. There is a stalker who is never fully developed or resolved. (That was a major sticking point for me in rating this book as it felt like it was just thrown in and then dropped after it served its purpose. What happened to the guy??? What did her parents think?) It is also never fully explained what was Dal's "big emergency" that Reece felt was so important that he had to leave Callie in the middle of sex. Largely the story is one sexual encounter after the next. In the beginning it's steamy but after a while it gets redundant and loses its effect. We get that they are attracted to each other (like constantly clothes stripping attracted to each other), but there needs to be more development in the earlier half to understand what makes them fall in love with each other.

The writing does not always flow the best and there are some obvious grammatical errors. Plus, the author should do her research better--two different characters both mention switching colleges as being as simple as having the school send some emails and paperwork. Uh, no. Just because you are accepted and attending one college does not mean you don't have to apply, await acceptance, and then wait till the next available semester to start. You don't just start on Monday; transferring in college isn't the same as public high school.
